Order No 28 of February 4^th, 2021 amending the Annex of the Order of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development No 1343/2018 approving the value of the tariffs applicable for permanent or temporary removal of extra muros lands from the agricultural circuit and for introduction of agricultural lands in the intra muros area of localities (hereinafter referred to as the „Order”) was published in the Official Journal of Romania, Part I, No 125 of February 5^th, 2021.

A. What is the tariff amount payable in 2021 for permanent or temporary removal of extra muros land from the agricultural circuit and for introduction of agricultural lands in the intra muros area of localities?

• The tariff is calculating by multiplying the sq. m. area of the land with the tariff indexed with the inflation rate for each category of agricultural land, as follows:

• Class of agricultural land – 1¹

• • • Tariff – 4 Lei/sq. m.
    • Tariff amount indexed with the inflation rate – 4,104 Lei/sq. m.

• Class of agricultural land – 2

• • • Tariff – 3.50 Lei/sq. m.
    • Tariff amount indexed with the inflation rate – 3,591 Lei/sq. m.

• Class of agricultural land – 3

• • • Tariff – 3 Lei/sq. m.
    • Tariff amount indexed with the inflation rate – 3,078 Lei/sq. m.

• Class of agricultural land – 4

• • • Tariff – 2.50 Lei/sq. m.
    • Tariff amount indexed with the inflation rate – 2,565 Lei/sq. m.

• Class of agricultural land – 5

• • • Tariff – 2 Lei/sq. m.
    • Tariff amount indexed with the inflation rate – 2,052 Lei/sq. m.

B. What is the inflation rate applicable for 2021?

• The inflation rate is 2.6%, as per the data published by the National Institute for Statistics.

C. End date for the applicability of the inflation rate

• The inflation rate is applicable until December 31^st, 2021

• The applicability period may be extended over the next year until the new inflation rate is published by the National Institute for Statistics on its official website, applicable for the following year and until the updated value is approved by order of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
