We are proud to announce that attorney Alina Güler has joined Firon Bar-Nir as head of Energy, Natural Resources and Waste Management unit.

With over 23 years of experience in business law, Alina is a veteran of this practice and a profound connoisseur of the energy sector having been involved in some of the largest and most significant transactions with respect to both renewable energy and hydro, biomass, oil and gas projects.

Amongst many transactions she has recently led, Alina has coordinated the process for the acquisition of one of the state-owned electric heating plants (CET) and assisted investors for the development of solar and wind renewable investments exceeding 500 MW. To this end, Alina has coordinated the permitting process, execution of the EPC agreements, drafting the project management agreements, revision of the key personnel agreements, submission of licensing files, registration with Transelectrica and OPCOM, and further assistance for conclusion of the Public-Private Agreement.

Since the environment protection became a key driver of the European policies, Alina also focused on the challenging legal area of waste management, providing legal support to one of the most reputable Romanian actor involved in the development of integrated waste management centers in Galați, and Vâlcea having a great deal of experience in permitting and commissioning of the waste sorting plants.
